Cardamom Slipover - English
Construction:
The slipover is worked from the top down. First, stitches are cast on and increases are made on both the right and wrong side while working flat to create a contiguous shoulder.
Increases are then made to shape the edge of the neck. The two front-pieces are joined to form the front of the slipover. The slipover is briefly worked in the round, before being divided into a front- and backpiece, which are worked separately. While working flat increases are made on the back- and front pieces to shape the armholes. The front- and back-piece are joined, and the body is worked in the round. The body is finished with a twisted rib edge.
Lastly, stitches are picked up along the neckline, as well as along the two armholes and twisted rib edges are worked.
