Shell Beanie - English

This beanie is knitted with a shell lace pattern, that's repeated and adjusted thoughout the beanie. It's worked from the ribbing to the top of the head, where it's closed off.

Sizes: 
The hat can be made in two different sizes fitting a head circumference of 54-57 (57-60) cm. 
The lenght of the beanie can be adjusted according to preference.

Gauge:
21 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Needles:
3,5 mm circular needle with 40 cm wire.

Yarn recommendation:
London Merino Fine (50 g = 175 m) held together with Super Kid Silk (25 g = 195 m) fra Mayflower or Alpaca (50 g = 167 m) with Kid-silk fra Drops or corresponding yarn qualities. The second strand can be left out, as long as the gauge is correct.

Amounts:
100 (100) g London Merino Fine and 25 (25) g Super Kid Silk.
